    Transformersmovie.com

    Check out transformersmovie.com

I would consider this, like Star Wars I II III, as one of the most anticipated movies of our time. I can't wait. And ticket has been booked for this coming Thursday.

Meanwhile, the website is still on my desktop because it plays three songs from its soundtrack, namely Linkin Park's What I've Done (don't really care much for it), Goo Goo Dolls' Before It's Too Late (which I think it's just fantastic and about time) and Transformer's Theme, which is just sleek. Any of these songs played any time in the movie will be awesome.

    Can't wait!

Good thing Jordin is crowned the new Idol because if Blake was, I'd be crying about it again like I did Melinda. But all in all, this isn't such an interesting season. And furthermore, the finale wasn't as great as previous seasons. What happened to all the top 12 getting a chance to perform with someone famous individually? Why was that not included? And they rather have the lame awards thing again which is just stupid, silly and ridiculous.

My top 5 most painful moments in the finale:
    5) When the camera shifts to Paula's face during a certain performance.
    4) All of that Golden Idol awards.
    3) Watching Sanjaya's solo performance with Joe Perry.
    2) Watching Sanjaya being made like a hearthrob during his solo.
    1) Watching Sanjaya making the little girl cry... again.

I cannot believe America did it again. Melinda is supposed to be in the finale and now she's out. Popularity against talent, and talent never wins. So upsetting it's sickening.

Granted Blake did well, surprisingly well, but even Randy said it should have been a two girl finale. Now if Blake takes home the trophy... sigh what else can I say.

Watch this, it's so funny yet true.

I thought these would be the Top 3 as I don't think Lakisha have that huge of a fan base and her singing isn't as good as Melinda. It will be quite an interesting Top 3 performance but seeing Blake perform with the Top 4, without his beat-boxing he isn't that great a singer as compared with the other two surviving contestants. Maybe for once, this will shape up to my kind of AI finale.

    Heroes

Rarely something great comes along. The last one should be Lost Season 1. Heroes Ep 20 was the best yet. Hopefully it won't follow in the disappointments that Lost brought.

    Top 6, Still

I knew no one was going home when Ryan announced the "most shocking result of all" at the beginning. but didn't expect that they would kick off two the following week.

I expected much more from this Idol Gives Back episode but nevertheless was quite satisfied with seeing Kelly Clarkson, Josh Groban and that 'duet' with Celine and Elvis. But it almost verged on being boring watching it from a downloaded format and it's like the 'party' never kicked off. I guess I had the wrong perception built up.

I always say, why can't footballers and football clubs donate to charity? They have got so much money, millions and billions, and they just spend on things that will even make more money. If every millionaire footballer donated just one million to Africa, it will be more than what Idol Gives Back has collected.

Ryan: "Simon, you are grinning from ear to ear."
Simon: "I am beginning to sense something."

And his grin was all there the whole time while Ryan delivered the result. He was enjoying every moment of it in bliss.

Joy to the world as Sanjaya is finally out. Which will also mean we will definitely see Simon again next season.

This week's country theme saw Melinda proving she can sing anything. Jordin was spectacular. Lakisha finally has a down week. I thought Chris didn't do as bad as the judges thought but I really don't care that much. If there's any justice, the top two should really be Melinda and Jordin but I have a feeling Blake will be there too, taking either's place.

Fergie was guest performer who did some sort of ballad which was really crap. I think her voice really didn't suit that kind of songs. But Martina McBride, wow gorgeous. That was the highlight of the result show, that and Sanjaya singing "let's give them something to talk about other than 'hair'".

Haley Scarnato's turn to go. it's about time really as there are no others. Sanjaya did a good job with his look. very latino-ish to suit the theme for this week.

Blake has been surprisingly good througout and could really give Melinda and Jordin a run for the title with his cool-cat character.

I'm still trying to figure out though, if it's because Idol is getting old for me or it's the contestants this season that are boring.

Gina Glockson is out. I personally don't think it's her time to go yet but really not expecting America to be doing the right thing anymore. So just taking it as it comes. Other than Melinda Doolittle and Jordin Sparks, I really shouldn't expect anything like 'wow' this season.

Good lord. Sanjaya is still in American Idol. read somewhere that if he wins Simon will quit. now that's funny.

A little bit sad that Chris Sligh is out. He's the only idol with a great sense of humour.

And it was good to see Gina finally sing a great rock song, albeit it's a slow one. she's not that great a rocker she thinks she is, I feel. But these slow songs she can really pull it off. Another surprisingly good performance was Phil Stacey.

I'm not sure what the theme for that week was but Gwen Stefani without the attitude, seemed like a really really sweet girl with a sweet sweet talking voice. Very different when she's singing. I really don't get what Akon's role was during the performance. And that song, I Can Be Sweet, the vocals, the tone for it, is just really bad for me. She certainly could do without that song. Akon just looked like an idiot going woohoo, and only woohoo.

Put this off long enough. But I should really finish what I started.

Stephanie is out last week. another who can really sing, sounds like Beyonce at times, is under-appreciated by the American public as they continue to vote for their 'favourite'. there really should be more out before it's even Stephanie's turn in the bottom 3.

After Jennifer Hudson, Mandisa and Chris Daughtry, it is no longer a surprise anymore as to who gets booted off AI when it's still not their time to go.

And especially when i've just discovered www.votefortheworst.com. Maybe that's why Sanjaya is still alive and kicking in the top 11 while the clearly-better singer landed in the bottom two, Brandon Rogers, got kicked. this may just be another Scott Savol case.

remembering all those previous idol-wannabes' names is not something i'm proud of in case you're wondering. i surprise myself.

    Season 6

Now into the 6th season of American Idol, Seacrest still can't keep time well enough, taking his sweet time in the first hour of the performance night of the brand new Top 12 who is without Alaina Alexander I might add, and then rushing everything during the second hour. C'mon Seacrest, get it together.

After the performances, i don't really care who really wins this season. nobody seemed to have that x-factor that would make me anticipate their performance. last year there were Chris and Katherine. Before that there were Bo and Carrie. This year, there isn't really anyone, maybe just Chris Sligh to see what other funny (or after this week's, weird) stuff he will do. And already there's a clear winner at this point being Melinda Doolittle, who's technique is awesome while Brandon Rogers disappointed once again but it is America voting so... But at least there's a semi-rocker, and a chick at that (Gina Glocksen) this year, who may or may not tear up the stage.

Who should really leave tonight, the one who really shouldnt even be there in the first place, who robbed Sundance Head of his chance at the Top 12 or even top 5, Sanjaya Malakar. honestly, i'd rather be watching his sister instead.

    AI5

so finally its over. even though i knew who won prior to watching it, at the end i was still hoping for the name 'Katherine McPhee'.

But Taylor Hicks deserved it. he is a better performer and a better singer, only because he's already 29 me thinks.

overall, this is the best result show yet. it's much grander than before, for one. plus this time, Live even came to perform which i think is really outside the AI flavour. and that's because of Chris Daughtry. a number of other amazing stars came to perform. some were outstanding and a few, in my opinion, stunk.

i love the performance by Kat and Meatloaf (funny how Kat didnt even know who Meatloaf is till then) but Meatloaf, i think, was actually singing the whole thing in a wrong key lol! and what's with Toni Braxton looking like she's tryng too hard to turn her performance with Taylor into something inappropriately raunchy? and Taylor, being a noob, couldnt keep up lol.

Mary J. Blige was great performing U2's smash hit One Love, at the same time drowning poor Elliot. but the best of the night was probably Prince as well as Carrie's. her live performances always sounded like her cd recording which is great.

another surprise of the night was the tribute to Burt Bacharach, when one of my fav of the season, Lisa Tucker, got the spotlight all to herself plus a lot of air time, singing Alfie. and she sounded fantastic. rightfully deserved. i think she can outsing most of the contestants in between top 9 and top 6.

    Top 2

What's up with Randy's comment to Kat, where he thought was anti-climactic because she sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow before and she's doing it again. wasnt that the whole damn point? were they even allowed to sing new stuff? and why didnt he say the same thing to Taylor? biased. Randy is always booing when Ryan introduced Simon. i say we boo Randy instead.

I didnt think Kat's first song was so far worse than Taylor's. it was a good opening song. i didnt like Taylor's first. and Kat's second song was definitely better than Taylor's. glad the judges thought so too.

but it was their third song which was really unfair. Bo and Carrie had to sing the same song last season. why is this season different?? why are they allowed to sing different songs? but Taylor was really better here, adding in his own flavour at the end. that was what saved him as both original songs were really not good at all.

i was expecting Kat to blow it away before she ended her song. but i think she almost choked at the end, feeling the lyrics that really got to her. her ending was weak. but that whole damn song was weak as it didnt showcase her range and i thought the key was a bit too low.

here's also where Taylor has the advantage. he's 29. Kat is 21. he has more experience under his belt. he didnt choke at the end and he was able to add his own flavour. AI has made the competition  unfair to the younger contestants. especially the 16 year olds. no matter how talented one is, experience will always be an advantage.

i'm guessing Taylor would win as Chris's and Elliot's fans would be voting for Taylor instead. they are probably thinking that it was Kat's fault that they favourites were out. but of course i'm hoping for Kat to win. however, win or lose, she'll have a cd out by next year. so that's fine with me.

so today will be the final result show. i had planned to stay away from all sites that could potentially announce who had won, even CNN.com, until i can watch it later on Star World. but then one of my friends on MSN caught the live broadcast and proudly announced on the message that popped up on the right hand bottom corner, Taylor won. and she added, "but i guess you knew". i was like, omg. that's a cruel cruel thing to do, girl. 3 months of fun down the drain.

    Down 10

and so it is, Taylor and Kat going to the Kodak Theatre.
it's quite a hard week for me to say who deserved to go between Elliot and Kat, but America has spoken, it was Elliot.

Dancing With The Stars Season 2

Just finished downloading (which i'm really happy about) and watching this recently. it was fantastic. the standard of dancing was much much higher than the first season, thanks to two of its stars. Drew Lachey and Stacy Keibler.

but inevitably, america's popularity-voting has yet again sent a wrong candidate into the final two.

i have to say Stacy Keibler is so gorgeous and is such a natural dancer. she looks so sweet and innocent that i just cant believe her personality would fit the WWE. but i guess i've only seen one side of her. and those legs are just amazing. she's like a 9/10. oh man.

    Top 3

no excitement coming in to the show yesterday. either it's less entertaining now that only a few are left, or because Chris was robbed.

but it produced the best performance of the season. Kat's Somewhere Over The Rainbow. started in acapela with just the spot light on her and she was on the ground again. but this time it worked. and it was beautiful.

thing about Kat is that she's been inconsistent for the past few weeks. off a few notes here and there in her other performances of the night. only that song can save her now. i cant believe i'm agreeing with Paula that she is at her best when she doesnt over-do her vocals. when she strains it, sometimes it isnt that great.

rightfully worthy of the top 2 spot would be the other two gentlemen who have been consistent and pitch perfect. but i think it'll be a boy and a girl in top 2. i dont think america would vote two guys in. and there were more female than male in the past winners list.
    May 12

    Down 9

    CHRIS HAS BEEN ROBBED!!!

when i saw Chris and Kat in one group, i was hoping that they would be the top 2, not the bottom 2. but i knew if Kat was there, it should be the bottom 2. so when it boils down to Chris and Kat, it's a no-brainer. Ryan came in and said, many predicted they would be in the finale. and many predicted Chris would win. hell, even i did. i guess that was the most shocking moment on American tv. i can imagine the outburst from fans.

everything's changed now. Taylor and Kat would probably be in the finals, i hope. and i hope Kat will win it, or she could be the one off next week. would the votes keep coming in? that's the question. did Nigel Lythgow orchestrated this whole thing? it's a risk he took which may or may not pay off. but Chris is now free from being labeled the American Idol. i think his fans will still be buying his records. i would too.

    EW:

Were you upset by how viewers reacted to you not crediting Live with your ''Walk the Line'' rendition?
It wasn't my doing. You say a lot of things in the [pretaped] interview, and when editing gets involved, things get cut out for time constraints. I did mention in my interview that I'm doing a different version from a band I totally respect. The lead singer of Live, Ed Kowalczyk, called me to say, ''Man, don't listen to that.'' We've been talking a lot since. It's really cool for me, because that's the band that inspired me to get into music. Ed Kowalczyk is my favorite singer. It was really cool to get that kind of respect.

    Top 4

After the result show this week, i will have no more reason to be excited about AI. Katherine is very likely to go after a less-inspiring performance last night compared to the three other males. clearly we know who the judges want to be in the semis. and more so if America is voting based on the judges comments. however, if Katherine is safe this week, then it is very clear that the competition is unfair and more of a popularity contest insteaad. or it's rigged.

Chris will win this because he is more appealing than Elliot, and he has proven last night that, unlike Taylor, he doesnt need any weird dance moves or antics and still can deliver a great performance on an upbeat song.

Taylor will make finals because (that is if Kat is out) he is the real underdog and he's got those weird dance moves and antics to capture the audience.

Elliot may make finals if Kat's fans vote for him instead, that is if Kat is out. it will be a close one between him and Taylor.

Kat will make next round only if her fans vote like hell. or competition is rigged. she wasnt that bad last night, i thought. her rendition of I Cant Help Falling In Love is my favourite, and unfortunately for her, is Simon's favourite too. Simon would want to hear something closer to the original. but then again, he always complains that the contestants sound too karaoke. go figure.

and hey i was quite close (4/5) when predicting the Top 5 wasnt i?!
